In my attempt to redesign the apartment a bit more pug-friendly *snort* i stumbled acorss dis site called Apartment Therapy I think they just might be able to help! Look at Heather and her pug Heather knows how to decorate, maybe she can talk to MaMa…..other than that, the site has some great ideas for sprucing up mah pad! Gotta get MaMa to look at it!

Pug News: Buck home and healthy
from Ask Chewie: The Pug LifeChewie the pug searches the news. A pug in St. Paul needs donations, the pug community chips in and now buck is home and healthy.
Buck, the most recent famous pug, although for a no so great reason is home and doing better thanks to all you pug lovers *snort*
Colleen Bighley never realized how many people loved animals until she needed help for her pug, Buck. Last week Buck snuck out of her home and got hit by a car. He suffered three broken legs.
“We were told that we needed $3,000 up front for the surgery,” Bighley said. Worried she couldn’t come up with the cash, that she’d have to put her pug to sleep, Bighley turned to the Minneapolis St. Paul Pug Family Meet Up Group for help and did they ever.
“We’re up to $2,000 in donations,” Bighley said. They raised enough money to help Bighley pay for Buck’s surgery. “It’s overwhelming,” she said. Buck still has a ways to go before he’s out playing with the other pugs in this group, but he’s slowly getting back on his feet.

“Thank you doesn’t even do enough,” Bighley said. “They helped save my dog’s life. Without them I wouldn’t have my dog here today.” Bighley said pet owners from as far away as Australia and France donated money.

Miami is Pug Plum Crazy

The Ricky tells me that Hollywood and Miami ain’t the same, but: “The dognapped Hollywood puggle is back home Friday with a case of the sniffles and plenty of media fanfare.” *snort*
“The puggle, valued at $1,000, was snatched over a week ago from its home in an open bin at 441 Puppies and Grooming. A man in baggy clothing picked up the pup and shoved it down his pants before walking out.”
First off. Why is a puggle valued at $1000? *schnurf* A puggle is still a mutt , just slapped with a designer label. Most purebred dogs, pugs included, don’t cost $1000. *snort*
Second: Who sticks a dog down his pants? Only in Miami, errrrrm *schnurf* Hollywood. He then gave it to his girl in Miami who kept the stolen puggle for a week.
“A Miami woman faces five years in prison and a $5,000 fine for her suspected role in stealing a $1,300 puppy she returned to its Hollywood owners Friday, officials said.”
The sun-sentinal reports the dog is worth $1300. Reporters should fact check sometimes *snort* right, mom?

Major Tom RIP 2004-2006
from Ask Chewie: The Pug LifeMajor Tom the Betta died today. Chewie and his MaMa are very sad.
Major Tom the Blue Betta Fish was found dead at about 10 a.m. of most likely unnatural causes by our MaMa. She was too upset to do much after that, so the Ricky and I jumped into action. The body and his home was removed from the house and many hugs and kisses have been given MaMa. I send love and prayers to Major Tom and wish him a reincarnation as a pug, or as another fish if so wishes. *snort*
Major Tom was rescued from a Peoples Pets in Mission Valley shortly before the holidays in 2004. He handled the move well and has been a wonderful addition to the Macris Menagerie. We will all miss him.

from Ask Chewie: The Pug LifeChewie the pug in an attempt to clean up his bed and decorate runs across this site for the post modern dog and cat.
My MaMa has been trying to make me clean up my dog beds lately, so I was thinking about buying a new one. I checked out Post Modern Pets and really like a lot of the stuff. My favorite was this Dog Loft Haus.
But it is $369 for the studio—too small for my rolls. and $499 for the loft.
What to do? What to do? I need to sell more shirts to afford that. So I started looking around and found it at Stacks & Stacks Loft Haus and Pad for $540. And that just proved that Post Modern Pets is a deal. So I’m gonna save my cash for that Loft Haus. I might just get this ottoman for just $59 now. But my MaMa said it doesn’t match.

My MaMa just bought me some Zukes Hip Action Dogs Peanut Butter flavor
from Centinela Pets and they are so good. She says they are good fer me tooo. She thinks us pugs have hip problems. I say just cause I may be a little creaky in my old age, it ain’t no problem. geez *snort* Either way they are yummy.
Before I ate them all, she was feeding me Zukes PowerBones. They are Chewy and give me lots of energy! Zukes is great! *schurf*
