Oregon Humane Society Breaks Ground The Oregon Humane Society broke ground (whatever that means, why would you wanna break the ground? I’ll ask MaMa later) on a new Animal Medical and lEarning Center on June 15th. It will be opening in April 2007. Events such as the pug crawl in May 2005 helped raise money for this project. *snort* Very Pug Life!

World Cup Fever

I was sniffing around and found this article about a Pug that plays for England and is big World Cup star. Seems Wayne Rooney, who plays for Man U (Manchester United) and on the ENgland national team isn’t really a pug after all. My MaMa explained it to me, but I’m just going by the
articles.....And he seems to live the Pug Life.

Update on Chewie

It’s been a long while since I talk to you *snort* So I still have my boys, as MaMa made the appointment for July 1, instad of June 1. I think it was a sign that I should keep ‘em. What do you think?
MaMa went to NYC and broke up her ankle. That’s what she gets *snort* fer leavin’ me in a kennel. So she sits around like a lazy butt making me and the Ricky do everything fer her now. *snort*
I went to the Pug Meetup on Saturday and met another Chewy. Then on Sunday MaMa and the Ricky took me to the beach. It was fun. I met some Pit Bulls *snort* and we played a bit. They were real nice!
I’ve been making some new shirts and having a lazy summer.
There is a new WikiChewie. Feel free to register and add anything you think is important to Pugs and the Pug Life. I started with pug pregnancy, cause that’s what most people ask me about. *schnurf*
Duke has a chance! The owner of one of the dogs officials say attacked a family and injured a 4-year-old boy says he doesn’t want the animal euthanized after all. The town of Hempstead will request a hearing in Nassau County District Court to determine whether Duke will live. That’s great news *snort* The owner of the dogs is coming through a nicer guy than it seemed *snort*

Long Island Bulldog Rescue has the latest *snort*
So Supreme Court Judge Davis ruled against Long Island Bulldog Rescue taking custody of Duke, so now it is up to the appellate court’s ruling on the stay of execution.
